Overview
The Replacement Clock is primarily a public, read-only website and does not require user accounts. Personal information is collected only when someone voluntarily submits the contact form or contacts the project by email. We do not sell personal information.
Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited for security, delivery, and performance purposes. The project may view temporary Cloudflare Pages Functions logs when troubleshooting, but does not maintain its own database of general visitor logs.
Analytics
This site does not use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, or advertising analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile provides security statistics related to contact-form verification. If broader analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated to explain what is collected and how it is used.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile may use cookies or similar technical mechanisms when necessary for security and bot detection. These mechanisms are not used by the project for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Local storage
The map uses your browser's local storage to remember whether map value labels and city markers are shown. These preferences stay on your device and are not transmitted to the project.
Contact submissions
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional subject, and message. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry, maintain relevant correspondence, and protect the form from abuse.
The form is processed by a Cloudflare Pages Function. Cloudflare Turnstile receives a verification token and technical information, including the visitor's IP address, to check for automated abuse. Resend then delivers the submission to the project's email inbox. Information is shared with these service providers only as necessary to protect and deliver the form. Contact details are not added to mailing lists or sold.
Data retention
Contact messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain relevant correspondence, and may then be deleted. Service providers may retain associated records according to their own privacy and retention policies.

Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
