The term "Great Replacement" names a demographic fact: the European-descended share of the population in Western countries and worldwide is declining rapidly, and in many nations the long-standing supermajority is on course to become a minority within living memory. The demographic security of euro-descended peoples is now severely threatened.
This is not speculation. It is what the best available data consistently show. Yet, tremendous efforts are deployed by Western institutions to ensure that speaking about this phenomenon as a source of legitimate concern gets one vilified and censured. How can we speak of something we are not allowed to name?
What the Demographic Data Shows
In 1950, most European countries were 97–99% ethnically European. The United States was roughly 84% European-descended; Canada was above 96%, Australia above 97%, and New Zealand above 93%. Within a single lifetime — the span of the baby-boom generation — those figures have fallen to levels that would have been unimaginable to the people living in those societies at mid-century. The United States today is approximately 56% European-descended and is projected to fall below 50% within the next decade. Comparable trajectories are underway across Western and Northern Europe, driven by the same combination of mass non-European immigration, sustained fertility differences, and cohort replacement.
No other civilization is undergoing a comparable transformation. The ethnic Han share of China is not collapsing. Japan is not trending toward a Japanese minority. Nigeria is not on course to become majority non-Nigerian. The Indian subcontinent faces no such trajectory. What is happening in the West is historically unprecedented: the indigenous populations of an entire civilization are being demographically marginalized in their own homelands as a consequence of policy decisions made by their own governing classes.
The Asymmetry of Particularism
Contemporary Western political culture enforces a stark double standard on the question of ethnocultural self-determination. National and ethnic particularism — the claim that a people has a legitimate interest in remaining the demographic majority in its historical homeland, maintaining political self-determination, and preserving its cultural continuity — is treated as a universal right when claimed by non-Western peoples and as a moral pathology when claimed by Western ones.
The same institutional actors who champion indigenous land rights, advocate Palestinian self-determination, and celebrate ethnonational movements across the Global South denounce any analogous claim by Europeans or European-descended peoples as racism, fascism, or white supremacism. The enforcement mechanisms are concrete: deplatforming, demonetization, employment termination, financial debanking, and coordinated media campaigns.
The intellectually coherent positions are two: either no people is entitled to demographic self-preservation and political self-determination in its homeland, or every people is. The prevailing regime rejects both in favor of a third: universalism for Europeans, particularism for everyone else. We reject this double-standard.
The Weaponization of a Term
The phrase "Great Replacement" was given its current form by the French writer Renaud Camus, who used it to describe the large-scale demographic and cultural transformation of France and, by extension, of European civilization. The concept names something observable and measurable — and precisely for that reason, it has been subjected to one of the most sustained campaigns of terminological delegitimization in contemporary public life.
The strategy operates in a consistent pattern. Those seeking to silence dissent on mass immigration will seek to define the term by the most extreme misappropriations available. Anyone who then uses the term, or who names the underlying phenomenon at all, is painted with the same brush: racist, extremist, fascist. The intent is to make rational public discourse on the subject impossible.
Camus, for his part, has never described the Great Replacement as a conspiracy orchestrated by any particular ethnic group. His argument is that the transformation is real, observable, and consequential — and that the refusal to name it is itself part of the political apparatus that sustains it. One may disagree with his analysis on any number of points. What one cannot honestly do is pretend that the demographic change he described is not happening. The data on this site settles that question.
Project Purpose
This site exists to make demographic reality legible. Its premise is that Western peoples have the same right as any other to know the ethnic composition of their own countries and to draw their own conclusions from that knowledge. Efforts to obscure, suppress, or morally criminalize this information are illegitimate.
The goal is factual clarity, not polemic — though the act of presenting suppressed facts plainly is itself politically significant in the current environment.
